JURYZOOM Systems Releases ProbeScan

Probabilistic Juror Profiling available in JURYZOOM v.3.0

April 25, 2010 -- Denver: JuryZoom Systems confirms it has released a 3rd generation juror profiling tool --ProbeScan, a probability based scanning system included in version 3 of the JUYRYZOOM MRI. According to CEO, Dr. Jack Honeycutt:

Developing targeted voir dire questions before trial is more productive and less risky when the trial team has access to tested and confirmed intelligence regarding the relationships between the verdicts of mock jurors biases, values, experiences, beliefs, associations and judgments. JURYZOOM's ProbeScan allows us to determine the probability that mock juror verdicts are due to juror biases, values, beliefs, experiences (etc.).

For the development of (proven) effective voir dire questions, JURYZOOM's ProbeScan allows us to zero-in on unfavorable juror characteristics with a high-probability of successfully eliminating unfavorable jurors. One of the most powerful advantages of developing voir dire questions based probabilistic assessment is that many such questions are typically neither obvious nor intuitive.

In many instances, the adversary will not be able to guess our client's voir dire strategy nor use our client's voir dire questions to conduct their own juror screening. Indeed, upon hearing the voir dire questions developed using JURYZOOM's ProbeScan probability assessment, the adversary is likely to assign or presume meanings that, when acted upon, will actually help select a more favorable jury for the JURYZOOM-informed trial team.

JURYZOOM is the only jury research platform available capable of conducting probability scans of juror response data, giving our clients a significant advantage over their adversaries in selecting the most favorable jury.
