JURYZOOM Intelligence for Both Sides of the Bar

Risk Forecasting Technology a Clear & Present Advantage

Anyone who relies on GPS, a weather forecast, or a medical test already knows the value of having intelligence. It's the same reason the U.S. military conducts war games and live-fire exercises. Simulations give doctors and military commanders the intelligence needed for planning the best outcome while helping to indentify and avoid risks. Unlike assumptions and guesswork, simulations can answer "what-if" questions, showcase skills and provide a practice opportunity, inspiring clients' trust and confidence the old-fashioned way: with performance.

Recent GC satisfaction surveys are raising new questions, forcing law firms to seek solutions to issues still clouded by uncertainty. Inside Counsel Magazine reports that virtually ALL GCs surveyed (99.5%) want to see "Greater Responsiveness" from their outside law firms. A large majority (82%) stated a desire to see more "creative solutions."

What do they mean by "responsiveness" and "creative solutions"?  In fact, there's reason to believe they're not so sure themselves.

From a recent BTI survey we learn that firms with stronger client loyalty charge a 20% higher billable rate and grow 35% faster than competitors. Other research indicates that primary law firms are at greater risk of being demoted, and secondary firms are likely to become their replacements.

Take Away: In a nutshell, unless they improve GC satisfaction, responsiveness and offer more value, primary law firms are at risk, while secondary firms have an opportunity to move up, raise their revenues and increase their growth. Learn how both can maximize their positions in our articles linked on the menu at right.
